During the late 1930s at the Dupont
Laboratories, Polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE was
discovered. Since then, PTFE has proven to be a unique
plastic for many varied applications.
At Techflex Enterprises our smoothbore PTFE tubing is
reinforced with an outer braid of 304 stainless steel to
produce a high quality hose that is:

withstand thousands of flex cycles.
- Inert and resistant to most
chemical attack with few exceptions.

operating temperature range
• -65°F to 450°F continuous service
• -100°F to 500°F intermittent service
